Therapy & Wellness Services

Where evidence-based psychology intersects with modern mindfulness and mindful leadership.

Services

  • Peaceful minimalist therapy room with a white sofa, wooden coffee table, soft lighting, and mindfulness decor — ideal for calm and healing.

    NEW CLIENTS

If you're considering therapy, please complete the brief pre-screening form to ensure I can see you within my current clinical structure.

Available to New York residents only.
I provide individual and couples therapy under the supervision of a collaborating psychiatric nurse practitioner, as required by my New York State Limited Permit. My goal is to create a supportive and collaborative environment where you can begin at a pace that feels comfortable. Sessions do not need to be weekly; many clients schedule based on availability and need.

    Insurance and Payment

I am able to accept Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) through my supervising psychiatric nurse practitioner. If you would like to use BCBS benefits, please let me know so I can help guide you through that process.

All other sessions are private pay. For clients with PPO plans, superbills are available after each session and may be submitted to insurance for out-of-network reimbursement. I am happy to assist you in understanding how to check your benefits and how to submit for reimbursement.

HSA and FSA cards are accepted for therapy services. These accounts typically cover psychotherapy, even when I am out of network.

    Fees

Session rates vary based on the service provided. Returning clients receive a reduced rate, and limited sliding-scale options may be available. If you have questions about fees or would like to discuss what feels realistic for you, please feel free to reach out.

Have questions? Email me at therapy@marymhc.com.

Can I get reimbursed for out-of-network therapy in New York?
Yes—if you have a PPO plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement. I provide Superbills to help you file claims. Visit the FAQs for more details.

    RETURNING CLIENTS

If we’ve worked together before — welcome back.

If you have worked with me before, you are welcome to continue care under my current practice structure. I provide therapy under the supervision of a collaborating psychiatric nurse practitioner, as required by my New York State Limited Permit. Many returning clients choose to schedule on an as-needed basis rather than weekly, and you are welcome to do the same.

    Insurance and Payment

I can accept Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) through my supervising psychiatric nurse practitioner. If you wish to use BCBS benefits, please let me know, and I can guide you through the process.

All other sessions are private pay. For clients who would like to use their PPO out-of-network benefits, I provide superbills after each session that contain all necessary information for reimbursement. I am also available to help explain how to check your benefits and how to submit claims if you would like support with that.

HSA and FSA cards are accepted for therapy, and many clients find these helpful for managing the cost of sessions.

    Fees for Returning Clients

Returning clients are eligible for a reduced session rate. In some instances, a limited sliding scale may be available. If you would like to discuss what feels realistic or have questions about fees, please feel free to reach out. My priority is to make the transition back into care as smooth and supportive as possible.

    Private sessions

Personalized sessions that integrate mindfulness, psychology, and somatic awareness. Together, we explore emotional patterns and nervous system responses to cultivate resilience, insight, and self-compassion.

Private sessions are available for both therapy (for New York–based clients) and mindfulness-based coaching (available nationwide). These sessions support individuals navigating stress, anxiety, chronic pain, trauma, and major life transitions, helping restore balance and deepen connection to self.

Whether through workshops, leadership coaching, or wellness program design, these offerings are tailored to foster balance, focus, and creativity. Each engagement is designed to align human wellbeing with professional excellence.

Together, we work toward deeper self-understanding, nervous-system balance, and meaningful change.

It was when i stopped searching for home in others

And lifted the foundations of home within myself

I found there were no roots more intimate

Than those between a mind and body

That have decided to be whole
