THERAPY & OUT-OF-NETWORK FAQS

I accept Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) through my collaborating psychiatric nurse practitioner. All other sessions are private pay.
I am an out-of-network provider. This means you pay for sessions at the time of service, and you may be eligible for reimbursement depending on your insurance plan. Many PPO plans reimburse between 40% and 80% of the session cost once your deductible is met.
Superbills are provided after each session and include all required information for out-of-network reimbursement. I’m happy to guide you through checking your benefits and understanding how to submit a claim.
Care is provided under the supervision of a psychiatric nurse practitioner in accordance with my New York State Limited Permit. HSA and FSA cards are also accepted for therapy.
